Değerli futbolseverler;
Bütün Türkiye’de olduğu gibi
kırmızı-beyazı tüm renklerden, tüm
duygulardan, tüm beklentilerden önde
tutan Eskişehir’de yeni bir millî heyecan
yaşamanın mutluluğunu sizlerle
paylaşmak istiyorum.
Bilindiği gibi, ulusal takımlar düzeyinde
futbolun zirve noktası olan FIFA Dünya
Kupası’na katılmak, Türkiye Futbol
Federasyonu’nun vazgeçilmez bir
misyonudur ve Hırvatistan maçı, bu
rüyanın gerçeğe dönüşmesi açısından
önemli bir virajdır.
İnanıyorum ki, sahada ay-yıldızlı
formayı giyme onuruna ulaşan
futbolcularımızdan tribünde Türkiye’yi
temsil etme bilincindeki taraftarlarımıza,
televizyon başında dualarıyla
takımlarına destek olan
futbolseverlerden sonsuz güven
duyduğumuz teknik heyetimize kadar
herkes bu gece tek yürek olacak, kalpler
birlikte A Millî Takımımız için atacak.
Göğsünde ay-yıldızlı Türk Bayrağı’nı
taşıyan forma ile sahaya çıkıldığında
her şeyi unutur, birlikte sevinir, birlikte
coşarız. Çünkü Millî Takım, ortak
geçmişimiz, ortak geleceğimizdir.
O geleceğin parlak zaferler
barındırdığından da şüphem yok.
Ayrıca bu gece A Millî Takımımız her
şeyin üstünde tutulurken, Fair Play
ruhunun bir kez daha yükseltileceği
Eskişehir’deki futbol şöleninde rakibe
saygı da vazgeçilmez değerimiz
olacaktır.
Futbol tarihimizde unutulmaz anılar
paylaştığımız Hırvatistan A Millî
Takımı’na ve Hırvatistan Futbol
Federasyonu yetkililerine de güzel
ülkemize hoş geldiniz der, tüm
futbolseverlere doyumsuz bir futbol
akşamı dilerim.
Dear football fans,
I would like to share the happiness of a
new national enthusiasm, hosted by
Eskisehir, where the passion of Red and
White comes before any other colour,
any emotion or any expectation, just as
in all around Turkey.
As known, participating to the FIFA
World Cup, the pinnacle of football at the
national teams level is a persisting
mission of the Turkish Football
Federation, and the match against
Croatia is an important turn on the
process of our dream coming true.
I believe, starting from our players who
have the distinct honour of wearing our
jersey with the star and crescent on the
pitch; to our supporters on the tribunes
that are aware how they represent
Turkey; to our nation, supporting our
teamwith their prayers while watching
the game on TV; and to our technical
staff, who have our absolute confidence
will all band together tonight and our
hearts will beat for the A National Team.
Once it is time to step on the pitch for
the players, carrying the Turkish Flag’s
star and crescent on their chests, we
forget everything else. We rejoice
together, we enthuse together because
the National Team is our common
history and also our common future.
I have no doubt that the latter holds
brilliant victories.
Additionally, while our A National Team
is valued above anything tonight,
respect to our opponent will be
indispensably important to the football
feast in Eskişehir where the Fair Play
spirit will be on the rise.
As I welcome the Croatian A National
Team and Croatian Football Federation,
with whomwe have shared
unforgettable memories in football
history, I also wish the football lovers a
unforgettable night of football.
