U16 National Team, coached by Hakan Tecimer, won the Caspian Cup which was held in Azerbaijan.
U16 National Team had qualified to semi-final by beating Jordan 4-0 and Uzbekistan 3-0 in the group matches. After this, they had beaten Japan 1-0 in the semi-final.
U16 National Team defeated Azerbaijan 4-1 in the final game and reached the championship title of the cup with this result. Enes Ünal's hat-trick (Min. 22, 39 and 68) and Doğuş Can İncedere's strike (Min. 31) gave the victory to Turkey in the final game while, the only goal of Azerbaijan came from Benhur Kama on 37th minute.
Besides, in the third place match of the cup, Japan beat Georgia 5-3 after penalties.
