Turkish Football Federation President İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu, met with UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin in Switzerland.

TFF Senior Advisor Yusuf Yerkel, UEFA National Federations Director Zoran Laković and UEFA Strategic Advisor Kadir Kardaş also attended the meeting held in UEFA HQ in Nyon.

UEFA office opening ceremony to be held in Istanbul

At the meeting, it was decided that UEFA will open an office in Istanbul in April, with UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin attending the inauguration.

Discussions focused on key upcoming events, including preparations for EURO 2032, which Türkiye will co-host with Italy, as well as the 2026 UEFA Europa League Final and the 2027 UEFA Conference League Final, both of which will take place in Türkiye. Additionally, potential projects in collaboration between the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) and UEFA were evaluated, and the possibility of hosting further UEFA tournaments in Türkiye was explored..
