Turkey Women U19 national team have suffered a 5-1 defeat at the hands of France in their second match at UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualifiers in Yeni Buca Stadium.

Dali gave France the lead only six minutes into the game but three minutes later Turkey leveled the game through Fatma Kara's equalizer. But France took the initiative in the game with goals from Lavaud (48, 90) and Crammer (60, 82).

Turkey reduced to ten men as Pınar Gül Yıldırım was sent off ten minutes from time.

Last round of matches in the group will be played on 24 September, with Turkey facing Georgia, while France play Serbia.

44 teams in 11 groups are competing to qualify for UEFA European Under-19 Championship. Top two teams in each groups plus the best third-placed team will advance into the final round of the competition which will be staged in 24 May - 5 June 2010 in FYR Macedonia.
