özellikle genç futbolcular›n

As Turkish Football Federation; we are
so happy to host 15th Mercedes-Benz
Aegean Cup.
Mercedes-Benz Aegean Cup is one of
the most precious tournaments of our
federation in which U16 players get on
the stage for the first time in their
career.
This football festival which we have
organized for 15 years, has become a
classic of football. It is specially very
important for the point of scouting of
young players.
The photo which was taken in 2009, is
one of indicators that show the
importance of the tournament. In this
picture, the player who is holding the
trophy is Paul Pogba. He was also the
most valuable player of FIFA U20
World Cup Turkey 2013 that we hosted
last summer and he was the captain of
France National Team who won the
championship in that tournament.
I would like to warmly welcome the
guests who are here for the Aegean Cup
in which we will witness an important
world-staged football tournament all
together. I would also like to thank to

participating teams and an enjoyable
tournament for the football fans.
