Turkey have defeated Austria 4-2 in a friendly international played at Ernst-Happel Stadion tonight. Unmarked Andreas Hölzl put the home side ahead after 28 minutes after heading a nice cross by Christop Leitgeb from the right wing.

Ten minutes later, Mehmet Aurelio equalized the score by appyling a simple finish following a nice one-two with Kazım Kazım. Turkey's comeback completed when Tuncay Şanlı finished a ball flicked by Gökhan Zan in a set piece situation.

Second half started with a goal as Tuncay scored his second to make the score 3-1 on 47th minute. Five minutes later, Austria pulled one back with Hölzl who scored his second goal in the game like Tuncay.

Tuncay made a hat-trick in the game when he scored the fourth goal of Turkey on 62nd minute with a beautiful chip in.

Kayserispor defender Eren Güngör made his senior debut for Turkey with this game, thanks to the impressive defensive record of his club who conceded only six goals in the league so far.
