İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu was elected as Turkish Football Federation President at TFF Financial and Electoral General Assembly.

The meeting held at Ankara JW Marriott Hotel began with the check-ins of 261 delegates. With a total of 146 votes, Turkish Grand National Assembly Member Mehmet Baykan was elected as the chairman of the council, and Trendyol League 1 team Iğdır Football Club President Cantürk Alagöz was elected as the vice chairman. TFF Presidential Candidates İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu and Mehmet Büyükekşi, UEFA Deputy President Armand Duka, FIFA European Member Federations Director Elkhan Mammadov, TFF Board Members, TFF Former Presidents, Parliament Members, club presidents and delegates attended the meeting.

TFF President, Board of Directors and Supervisory Board were acquitted

After a moment of silence and the singing of our National Anthem, the agenda items began to be discussed. Following the opening speech of TFF Former President Mehmet Büyükekşi, TFF President, Board of Directors and Supervisory Board were acquitted by the delegates who attended the meeting for their accountings and activities during the period 1 June 2023 - 31 May 2024.

Candidates made their speeches and explained their projects

Following the acquittal vote, TFF Presidential Candidates İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu and Mehmet Büyükekşi made their speeches and informed the delegates about their projects for their term of office if elected.

İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu was elected TFF President with 134 votes

After the speeches of the presidential candidates, voting started. At the end of the election, in which a total of 281 delegates voted in 7 ballot boxes and 18 votes were deemed invalid, İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu was elected as Turkish Football Federation President with 134 votes against 129 votes collected by Mehmet Büyükekşi.
