Turkish Football Federation President Mehmet Büyükekşi met with UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin in Istanbul.

TFF Deputy President, Executive Board Member Responsible for FIFA, UEFA Relations and Foreign Affairs Mustafa Eröğüt also attended the meeting.

Türkiye's EURO 2032 preparations were evaluated

UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin, who received information about the work carried out in our country for EURO 2032, which we will co-host with Italy, evaluated the possibilities of holding other UEFA organizations in Türkiye together with TFF President Mehmet Büyükekşi.

Giving a speech after the meeting, TFF President Mehmet Büyükekşi said, "Today, we had a special meeting with UEFA President Mr. Čeferin in Istanbul. We talked about our preparations for EURO 2032. We will host one of the three most important sports organizations in the world in Türkiye, together with Italy. We shared with UEFA how much importance our government attaches to this issue and the detailed plans that our relevant ministries are improving regarding their areas of responsibility. We evaluated the results of the meeting on the new format of UEFA club competitions, which we hosted as TFF last week and was attended by the representatives of UEFA, European Clubs Association (ECA) and our Super League clubs. We reviewed the latest preparations for EURO 2024. We held preliminary discussions about other UEFA organizations that Türkiye can host in addition to EURO 2032."
