Mehmet Büyükekşi, President of Turkish Football Federation, who was in Helsinki to watch the UEFA Super Cup final, met UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin, with the attendance of TFF delegation and the former TFF President, Servet Yardımcı.

TFF former President and UEFA Board Member Servet Yardımcı, TFF Deputy President and FIFA, UEFA, Foreign Relations and Women's Football Supervisor Nüket Küçükel Ezberci, TFF Board Member Erman Kalkandelen and TFF General Secretary Kadir Kardaş joined the meeting. UEFA National Federations Director Zoran Lakovic and UEFA Executive Office Manager İlker Uğur also attended the meeting.

The improvements in Turkish football and European football were evaluated. TFF President Mehmet Büyükekşi shared the progress of the TFF during the 1.5-month period with Aleksander Ceferin.

Afterwards, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League group draws and Best of the Year Football Awards Ceremony, which will be held in Istanbul on 25-26 August were reviewed.

The preparations for the 2023 UEFA Champions League Final, which will be played at Istanbul Atatürk Olympic Stadium on June 10, 2023, on the 100th anniversary of our Republic, were evaluated as well.

During the meeting where the projects that can be realized together were discussed, best wishes were shared mutually for the growth of the cooperation between the TFF and UEFA.

After the conversation, which took place in a friendly atmosphere, gifts were exchanged. TFF President Mehmet Büyükekşi gave Aleksander Ceferin jerseys with his name written on it and signed by our National Team players. Also UEFA President presented the pennant to Mehmet Büyükekşi in memory of the day.

TFF President Mehmet Büyükekşi and the accompanying delegation will watch the UEFA Super Cup match to be played at 22.00 tonight at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium.
