As is known, The Turkish Football Federation(TFF) has announced that all football activities in Turkey have been suspended until further notice because of the continuous spread of Covid-19 (Coronavirus,) the decision was reached following a recommendation made by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on March 18 and a meeting between the TFF and the Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu on March 19 in Ankara.

Since then, our Federation has been watching conditions and any updates on the subject closely, in coordinate with Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Health Coronavirus Science Board and UEFA.

Our priority, as always, is the health and well being of our athletes, sportspersons and fans.

Therefore, in the light of Turkish Government's decisions, Science Board's recommendations, Ministry of Youth and Sports' coordination and UEFA's remarks, TFF Executive Committee will conduct a meeting in the first week of May and will decide on the starting date of the rest of the season.

Having considered the current circumstances and in view of the fact that the need of a preseason for our clubs, professional and amateur leagues in Turkey is considered to be played in June, the earliest.

Turkish Football Federation would like to state that, various action plans and schedules are ready for ten different possible scenarios.
