Turkey beat Spain 2 - 0 in the final game of the 20th Mercedes-Benz Aegean Cup and became the champions. The match was played at Altınordu Metin Oktay Campus, Serpil Hamdi Tüzün Field and Turkey's goals were scored by Ömer Faruk Beyaz in 60th and 70th minutes.
The third place match of the tournament's regular time ended 1-1 as a draw and England beat Russia 5-3 after the penalty shoot-out.
The champions get their cup from Turkey Football Development Director Tolunay Kafkas and Altınordu Club Chairman Seyit Mehmet Özkan. England won the gentleman team of the tournament award and England's Liam Delap became the top scorer of the tournament. Turkey's Ömer Faruk Beyaz was selected the player of the final match.
