Turkish Women's U19 National Team, coached by Suat Okyar, lose to Hungary 5-2 in their first match of 2017-18 UEFA Women's U19 European Championship Qualification Round Group 10 which is held in Hungary.

The match was played in Varosi Stadium, Bük, Hungary and Turkey's goals came from Esra Manya (Min. 64) and İrem Eren (Min. 90+1) while, Brigitta Pulins (Min. 12), Anna Júlia Csiki (Min. 18), Katalin Tímea Tolnai (Min. 86) and Adrienn Oláh (Min. 70) hit the target for Hungary.

In the day's other match of the group, Scotland beat Armenia 2-0.

Turkey will face Armenia in their second match of the group on 21 October 2017 Saturday at 13.00 CET.

The qualifying round is made up of 12 groups of four countries playing in one-venue mini-tournaments. The top two from each pool progress alongside the four third-placed sides with the best record against the leading pair in their groups. In the elite round 28 qualifiers compete in eight mini-tournament groups of four. The group winners advance to the finals to join the hosts. The finals will be held in Switzerland.
