After an intensive planning process, the Turkish Football Federation has implemented the 'Domestic Club Licensing System' to Turkey. This system will be implemented across 3 divisions. (Spor Toto Süper Lig, Bank Asya 1.Lig and Spor Toto 2.Lig)

As with the UEFA Club Licensing System, the Domestic Club Licensing System will focus on the clubs 'Sportive, Personnel, Legal, Infrastructural and Financial' criterias.

The aims and objectives of the system will be for clubs to have a more professional structure, raising the standards of the youth teams and for clubs to raise the standards of its training and match facilities by fulfilling the criterias. 

The core benefits of the new system include:

• Clubs to be financially more stable and ensure the continuity of the club.
• Clubs to keep control of their outstanding payables towards its debtors.
• Clubs raising the standards of the club and making it easier for clubs to reach UEFA standards.
