The UEFA Executive Committee has decided that Turkey will host the UEFA European Women's U19 Championship in 2012 during its meeting in Minsk, Belarus.

TFF President Mahmut Özgener indicated that they are pleased to organize UEFA European Women's U19 Championship in 2012 and said: '' I'm completely sure that we'll host this championship flawlessly again after 2005 UEFA Champions League Final, 2008 UEFA European U17 Championship and 2009 UEFA Cup Final.''

UEFA European U19 Women's Championship is arranged with the participation of the host country and the 7 countries which rise the finals from 1st and 2nd qualification round. These teams are drawn into 2 groups of four teams. The winners and the runners-up of the groups qualify to semi-finals. The winners of the semi-finals reach to the final. 2010 UEFA European Women's U19 Championship had been arranged in FYR Macedonia while, Italy will host the finals in 2011.
