U17 National Team, coached by Hakan Tecimer, beat Poland 5-4 after penalty-shootouts in their third and last match of UEFA 2013/2014 U17 European Championship Elite Round Group 2 which was held in Patras, Greece.

The match was played in Pampeloponnisiako Stadium, Patras, Greece and normal time was ended 0-0.

Because of the equality of points and average of both teams; to decide the winner of the group and qualifier of the finals, penalty-shootouts were made. After defeating their rivals 5-4 in penalty-shootouts, U17s qualified to 2013/2014 UEFA U17 European Championship Finals which will be held in Malta between 9-21 May 2014.

The draw of 2013/2014 UEFA U17 European Championship Finals will be held on 9 April 2014 Wednesday at 20.00 with Turkish local time at St. James Cavalier, Valleta, Malta.

In the draw; hosts Malta and 7 qualifiers who are Turkey, Switzerland, Netherlands, England, Germany, Scotland, Portugal will be separated into two groups of four teams that winners and runners-up of the groups will qualify to semi-finals.
