The 13th edition of the Mercedes-Benz Aegean Cup 2012 starts at today which is held between 17-22 January in Manisa, Turkey with the participation of eight U16 national teams.
Along with host Turkey; Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Ukraine, Belgium and Greece will join the tournament. This year for the first time United States will participate to the cup as a team outside of the continent.
The matches will be played in Manisa 19 Mayıs, Akhisar İlçe, Turgutlu 7 Eylül, Kula İlçe, Soma Atatürk, Sart , Salihli Ramiz Turhan ve Saruhanlı İlçe stadiums.
In the first day of the tournament; Turkey will host USA in Soma Atatürk Stadium while, Czech Rep. will meet Denmark in Group A at 14.00 with Turkish local time. Turkey-USA game will be officiated by Özkan Çeliker, Emrah Bayrakçı, Serkan Gülçer and Suat Omak.
Besides, in Group B, France-Ukraine and Belgium-Greece matches will be played at 13.00 with Turkish local time.
