The draw for UEFA European U21 Champions qualifiers that will take place between 2009-2011 was made in the Danish city of Aarhus. Turkey U21 national team was paired together with Switzerland, Armenia, Republic of Ireland, Georgia and Estonia in Group 2.

With Denmark automatically qualifying for the finals in June 2011 as hosts, the remaining 52 teams were drawn into ten groups, eight with five teams and two with six, Group stage matches will be played according to a standard, home-and-away, league system, kicking off on 28/29 March 2009 and concluding with the final matches in all ten groups on 7 September 2010.
Ten group winners and four best runners-up will advance into the play-offs. 7 play-off winners and hosts Denmark wil play the final.
