The deadline for announcing the interest to stage EURO 2016 has now passed. Four candidates from UEFA's five member associations signaled their interest to stage the prestigious competition seven years later.

Turkey, Italy and Frace submitted a single bid, while Norway and Sweden expressed their interest in a joint bid. Candidates will have to hand their bid dossiers on 15 February 2010 to UEFA.

UEFA National Team Competitions committee will review the reports and UEFA's Executive Committee will take a final decision on or about 27 May 2010.
