Futsal National Team coached by Ömer Kaner defeated Hungary 3-2 in their first match of UEFA Futsal EURO 2012 Qualifying Round Group 5 which is held in Ukraine. The match was played in Lokomotiv Sports Centre, Kharkiv, Ukraine and Turkey's goals came from Burak Yıldırım (25' 52'', 37' 50'') and Kenan Köseoğlu (27' 12'') while, Csopaki (3' 22'') and Gyurcsanyi (19' 37'') hit the target for Hungary.
In the day's other match of the group, Belgium was beaten 4-3 by hosts Ukraine.
