Turkey Women U19 national team have advanced to UEFA European Women Under-19 Championship second qualifying round by beating Georgia 13-0 at Yeni Buca Stadium. This is the biggest win of the national side as well as the highest achievement in their history. Turkey's scorers were Başak Ersoy (4, 90), Eylül Elgalp (6, 45, 47, 61, 85), Merve Aladağ (49, 60), Fatma Kara (90+2) and Gizem Gönültaş (50).

In the other match of Group 7, France defeated Serbia 5-0 thanks to strikes from Crammer, Catala (2), Rubio and Schwartz.

After the completion of the matches, France topped the group by collecting 9 points and Turkey finished as runners-up with 4 points.

In second qualifying round, 22 teams coming from the first qualfiying round will join defending champions Germany and the best third-placed team. 24 teams will be divided into six groups of four, with group winners and best runners-up will qualify fort he finals in FYR Macedonia. Matches will take place between 27 March - 1 April 2010. Finals will be played between 24 May - 5 June 2010.
