Beşiktaş JK have beaten Fenerbahçe 4-2 in the final and lifted Turkish Cup trophy at İzmir Atatürk Stadium. 50.000 fans witnessed Beşiktaş's joy after the İstanbul giants' last cup triumph in May 2007.

Yusuf Şimşek gave Beşiktaş an early lead six minutes into the game with a powerful shot. Despite losing  the initiative to their arch-rivals, Fenerbahçe balanced the game and found the equalizer on 26 minutes through Spanish striker Daniel Güiza who collected an assist from Deivid.

Beşiktaş coach Mustafa Denizli fielded left-back İbrahim Üzülmez to strenghten his left flank which saw intensified attacks during first half.

Only two minutes into the second half, Bobo's effort was parried by Fenerbahçe keeper Volkan Babacan and Beşiktaş wasted a chance to go ahead.

Shortly after, Fenerbahçe coach Luis Aragones decided to increase his attacking chances by taking Semih Şentürk on for Uğur Boral. However, only five minutes later (56), Bobo's blazing fast long shot went into the Fenerbahçe net and put Beşiktaş into pole position once again. Spurred on the second goal, Beşiktaş put pressure on Fenerbahçe. Within this period Rodrigo Tello had two efforts that were denied by the crossbar and keeper Volkan.

Beşiktaş extended their lead with a headed strike from Bobo and Filip Holosko and ensured their victory.
