U16 National Team, coached by Tahir Karapınar, defeated Spain 4-3 by the penalties in the final of Caspian Cup. With this result, Turkey win the Caspian Cup which the normal time of the final match was ended 0-0.
In the day's other matches of the cup, Azerbaijan beat Georgia 4-1 by the penalties (Normal time: 1-1) and took the 3rd place, while Kazakhstan defeated Uzbekistan 5-0 and took the 5th place. In the 7th place match, Tajikistan beat Krygyzstan 1-0.
U16s had defeated Uzbekistan 6-0, Krygyzstan 3-0 and Azerbijan 4-2 in their previous matches of the cup.
