3 Sahne gençlerimizin Stage set for youngsters Yıldırım Demirören Türkiye Futbol Federasyonu Başkanı Turkish Football Federation President Değerli futbolseverler, Türk futboluna uluslararası alanda ayrı bir değer katan Mercedes-Benz Ege Kupası’nın 20’ncisine ev sahipliği yapmanın gururunu yaşıyoruz. En uzun soluklu gençlik turnuvamız olan Ege Kupası’nın Federasyonumuz için önemi çok büyük ve bu tür organizasyonları desteklemekten heyecan duyuyoruz. Geleceğin yıldız adaylarının sahne alacağı kupaya bu sene İngiltere ve İspanya gibi önemli ülkelerin de katılımı bizim için ayrı bir mutluluk kaynağı. Bu organizasyon aslında sadece bir kupa değil, aynı zamanda Türk gençleri ile Avrupalı gençler arasında dostluk köprüsü oluşturacak bir futbol festivali… Genç yeteneklerin dostça rekabet içerisinde, Fair Play ve saygı duygularını pekiştirerek kariyer basamaklarında yeni bir sayfa açmasını ümit ediyorum. Türk misafirperverliğinin en güzel örneklerini sunacağımızdan ve konuklarımızın güzel anılarla ülkemizden ayrılacağından eminim. Futbolun vazgeçilmez unsuru siz değerli futbolseverleri, sahada mücadele edecek gençleri alkışlamaya davet ediyorum. Herkese iyi seyirler ve güzel bir kupa diliyorum. Dear fans, We are proud to organize the 20th of Mercedes-Benz Aegean Cup this year. This long-running youth tournament is one of the most important events for our Association. Therefore we’re living the excitement of organizing and supporting a tournament such as Aegean Cup. Participation of important countries like England and Spain in this year’s Aegean Cup is also an excellent source of happiness for us. We will have the opportunity to watch and witness young prospects that have a bright future ahead in their careers. This tournament is not just an ordinary football tournament. The friendship between Turkish and European youngsters will strengthen more than ever in this festival of football. Young talents will climb the steps of a successful career by opening a new page and gaining the necessary experience in this competition. Thus, I wish this year’s Aegean Cup will be an outstanding opportunity for the players to improve themselves with the spirit of Fair Play. We do not doubt that our guests will leave this beautiful country with great memories thanks to our Turkish hospitality. I would also like to invite everyone to give a big round of applause to the young players who’ll compete in 2019 Mercedes-Benz Aegean Cup, and I wish everyone an enjoyable tournament.
