Ş imdi 2026 Dünya Kupası’na da gücümüzü göstermeye gidiyoruz. Cenab-ı Allah’ın izniyle sadece Türkiye’yi de ğ il; dünyanın farklı co ğ rafyalarında milyonlarca gönülda ş ımızı en iyi ş ekilde temsil edecek ve bize inananları gururlandıraca ğ ız. Dünyanın gözü 2026 Dünya Kupası’nda olacak. Futbolun çekimmerkezi bu turnuva öncesi tüm hazırlıklarımızı yapıyoruz. Hazırlıklar kapsamında dost ve karde ş ülke Kuzey Makedonya’yı konuk ediyoruz. Bu kar ş ıla ş ma, Dünya Kupası öncesi eksiklerimizi görme fırsatı verecek, takımımızın hazırlık sürecine de ğ erli katkılar sa ğ layacak. Kuzey Makedonya son yıllarda uluslararası arenada önemli geli ş im gösteren, mücadele gücü yüksek bir takım kimli ğ i ortaya koydu. Tarihinde ilk kez EURO 2020 finallerine katılarak dikkat çeken rakibimiz, UEFA Uluslar Ligi’nde elde etti ğ i ba ş arılarla da Avrupa futbolunda istikrarlı bir yükseli ş sergiledi. Futbolda giderek yükselen bir grafi ğ e sahip Kuzey Makedonya ile oynayaca ğ ımız kar ş ıla ş ma bizim için önemli bir test olacak. İ ki ülke millî takımları arasında bugüne kadar oynanan kar ş ıla ş malarda rekabetin yanı sıra dostlu ğ un da öne çıkması ayrı bir anlam ta ş ıyor. Kuzey Makedonya Millî Takımı’nı ülkemizde a ğ ırlamaktan mutluluk duyuyor; iki ülke arasındaki samimi ili ş kilerin futbolun birle ş tirici gücüyle daha da geli ş ece ğ ine inanıyorum. Bu güzel futbol ak ş amında Fair Play ruhunun ön planda oldu ğ u, futbolseverlerin keyifle takip edece ğ i bir kar ş ıla ş ma olmasını temenni ediyorum. Misafirimiz olan Kuzey Makedonya Futbol Federasyonu yetkililerine, teknik heyetine ve futbolcularına ho ş geldiniz diyorum. Ba ş ta be ş yıl sonra millî maça ev sahipli ğ i yapacak Fenerbahçe Kulübü olmak üzere, Ş ükrü Saraço ğ lu Stadyumu’nda tribünleri doldurarak tam destek verecek taraftarlarımız ile ekran ba ş ındaki tüm futbolseverlere ve Millî Takımımıza destek veren tüm kurum ve kurulu ş lara te ş ekkürlerimi sunuyorum. Our National Teammade us proud and filled the entire country with joy by qualifying for FIFAWorld Cup after 24 years. Now, we are heading to FIFAWorld Cup 2026 to demonstrate our strength once again. Hopefully we will not only represent Türkiye in the best possible way, but also make millions of our compatriots and supporters across different parts of the world proud. The eyes of the world will be on FIFAWorld Cup 2026. As football's center of attraction shifts toward this major tournament, we continue all our preparations in full. As part of these preparations, we are hosting our friendly nation North Macedonia. This match will provide us with an opportunity to identify our shortcomings ahead of the World Cup and will make a valuable contribution to our team's preparation process. In recent years, North Macedonia has emerged as a team with significant progress on the international stage and a highly competitive spirit. Drawing attention by qualifying for UEFA EURO 2020 finals for the first time in their history, our opponent has also demonstrated a consistent rise in European football through its achievements in UEFA Nations League. The match we will play against North Macedonia, a teamwith a steadily rising profile in football, will be an important test for us. The fact that friendship has stood out alongside competition in the matches played between the national teams of our two countries adds a special meaning to this encounter. We are pleased to welcome North Macedonia National Team to our country and believe that the sincere relations between the two nations will grow even stronger through the unifying power of football. On this wonderful football evening, I hope we will witness a match in which the spirit of Fair Play prevails and football fans enjoy every moment. I would like to extend a warm welcome to the officials, coaching staff, and players of Football Federation of Macedonia, our guests for this occasion. I also would like to express my gratitude to all football fans who will fill the stands of Ş ükrü Saraco ğ lu Stadium to give their full support, especially Fenerbahçe Sports Club, which will host a national teammatch for the first time in five years, as well as to everyone watching from their televisions and to all institutions and organizations supporting our National Team.
