Turkey Under-18 national team have  beaten Finland and Azerbaijan with 2-1 scores two games into the Valentin Granatkin Tournament in Russia.

In the first match, Recep Berk Elitez's double (34 and 84) gifted Turkey the win against Finland, while Pastila opened the scoring 11 minutes into the game. On 74th minute Finland reduced to ten men following the dismissal of Seferi.

In the other games of the day, Azerbaijan held Ukraine to a 1-1 draw at Group B, whereas Belgium beat Uzbekistan 2-1 in Group A.

At Turkey's 2-1 win against Azerbaijan, Ali Dere (23) and Recep Berk Elitez (56) were the scorers. Abdullayev scored the consolation of Azerbaijan just before the final whistle. Nine minutes from time Azerbaijan's Guliyev was sent off.

There were three other fixtures of the day. Ukraine beat Finland 1-0, Uzbekistan defeated Belarus 3-2 and Russia overwhelmed Belgium 4-0.
Turkey will meet Ukraine on 8 January Friday.
