Turkey Under-21 national team have defeated Belarus 1-0 at Mardan Sports Complex in Antalya at UEFA European Under-21 Championship play-off match and claimed a narrow advantage before the second leg which will be played four days later in Borisov.

Turkish team dominated the entire game and especially they played an influential football in the second half. The deficit could be higher only if they were a bit careful and lucky in the finishing touches. Time to time, the visitors got opportunites to score but they failed to do that.

Ten minutes into the game Bursaspor's young starlet Sercan Yıldırım scored the winner of his side by completing a  shot by his team mate Özer Hurmacı whose shot was initially parried by Belarus goalkeeper Chasnovsky
