Turkey returned to winning ways at 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifiers after a 2-1 victory over Bosnia-Herzegovina at Inönü stadium. Arda Turan and Mevlüt Erdinç were on target for the home side while Dzeko scored the only goal for the visitors.

Turkey started the game with a 4-4-2 formation, while Bosnia-Herzegovina preferred 3-5-2. Turkey were without some key players like Semih Sentürk, Nihat Kahveci and Gökhan Ûnal. Therefore Mevlüt Erdinç and 17-year-old forward Batuhan Karadeniz formed the attack. But Batuhan had to leave the pitch prematurely due to a shoulder injury with Nuri Sahin replacing him on 39th minute.

On the Bosnian side, they had to leave Safet Nadarevic o picking up a serious injury in yesterday's training.

Turkey began the game was bright and ambitious but throughout the first half, they were not able to create a serious danger. Bosnia started to play more brave and found the goal. Edin Dzeko headed a left-side free-kick to put his side ahead on 27th minute.

Turkey's reply to this came six munutes into the second half from a similar opportunity. Arda Turan equalised the score by heading Sabri Sarioglu's free-kick.

After the goal, Turkey intensified their attacks and completed their comeback courtesy of a Mevlüt Erdinç strike on 66th minute.
