Vincenzo Montella, the coach of our National Team which will face Wales, Iceland and Montenegro in 2024/25 UEFA Nations League B Group 4, gave a speech after the draw.

Evaluating our opponents after the draw held in Paris, Montella said, "We learned our opponents in UEFA Nations League with the draw in Paris today. We will compete against Wales, Iceland and Montenegro in League B, which are familiar teams for our players due to the recent matches. Playing against teams from the north has always been challenging. Especially when they use the home advantage. These teams, which stand out with their high physical strength, have also improved themselves tactically in recent years. We witnessed that in the recent match played with Wales in European Qualifiers in Cardiff. My opinions are also valid for Iceland. Although Montenegro has not been able to participate in the finals of major tournaments so far, it is a team with many talented players."
Underlining that UEFA Nations League is also a gateway to FIFA World Cup, Montella said, "Our goal is to finish our group at the top and promote to League A. We should not forget that this will offer us an extra opportunity to participate in 2026 World Cup Finals."
