The 17th edition of 2016 Mercedes-Benz Aegean Cup which is held in Manisa and it's districts, Turkey; continued with the second group matches today.

Norway 1-2 Turkey

Turkish U16 National Team, beat Norway 2-1 in their second match of Group A. The match was played in İzmir Atatürk Stadium, Training Pitch No.2 and Turkey's goals cam from Malik Karaahmet (Min. 50) and Ercan Şirin (Min. 58) while Marius Larsen (Min. 14) hit the target for Norway.

After these results; Turkey has guaranteed to qualify to the final in the tournament by reaching 6 points after two group matches. After playing last group match on 21 January Thursday, Turkish U16 National Team will face Group B winner in the final on 23 January Saturday. Turkey's opponent in the final will be decided after the last matches of Group B on 21 January Thursday.

In the day's first match of Group B, Ukraine beat Czech Republic 3-1. The matc was played in İzmir Atatürk Stadium, Training Pitch No.2, İzmir, Turkey and Ukraine's goals came from Stanislav Sorokin (Min. 2) (Pen.), Serhii Dudynskyi (Min. 28) and Oleksandr Melnyk (Min. 64) while, David Pichal (Min. 16) (Pen.) hit the target for Czech Republic.

USA 2-1 Greece

In the day's first match of Group B, USA beat Greece 2-1. The match was played in Selçuk Stadium, Kuşadası, Turkey and USA's goalscame from Andrew Carleton (Min. 47) and Tonny Temple (Min. 66) while Alexandros Gkargkalatzidis (Min. 67) hit the target for Greece. Besides, Chandler Vaughn from USA (Min. 75) was sent-off.

Romania 3-3 Belgium

In the day's other match of Group B, Romania drew 3-3 against Belgium. The match was played in Selçuk Stadium, Kuşadası, Turkey and Romania's goals came from Antonio Sefer (Min. 23) and Alexandru Gologan (Min. 51 and 80+3) while Derrick Kyere (Min. 19), Theo Leoni (Min. 52) and Jordy Janssens (Min. 72) hit the target for Belgium.
