Turkish Visually Impaired National Team who has been supported by Turkish Football Federation, within the Turkish Blind Sports Federation and supported by Turkcell as a sponsorship, beat Russia 1-0 in IBSA Blind Football European Championship Final and won the championship in Hereford, England.

Turkish Visually Impaired National Team had drawn against Germany 0-0, defeated Poland 6-0, defeated Italy 3-0 and lost England 2-1 in A Group Stage. With these results, Turkey had finished Group A second place with 7 points and played against Spain in semi final. After beating Spain 2-0 in semi final, they had gotten the chance to play in Final.

Spain finished the tournament third place after beating England 1-0 in a penalty shoot-out.

With reaching the final, Turkish Visually Impaired National Team qualified for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.
