Women's U19 National Team, coached by Talat Tuncel, drew 1-1 against Austria in their second match of 2013/2014 UEFA U19 Women's European Championship Elite Round Group 5 which is held in Netherlands.

The match was played in De Strokel Stadium, Harderwijk, Netherlands and Turkey's goal came from Selin Sivrikaya (Min. 59) while, Nicole Billa (Min. 16) hit the target for Austria.

In the day's other match of the group, Netherlands drew 0-0 against Rep. of Ireland.

Women's U19 National Team will face Rep. of Ireland in their third and last match of the group on 10 April 2014 Thursday at 20.00 with Turkish local time.

Women's U19 National Team had qualified to Elite Round by finishing Qualificiation Round's Group in the second place against Hungary, Montenegro and Belgium.

The 44 associations participating in the qualifying round are drawn into 11 groups of four teams. The three teams directly qualified for the elite round, the 11 group winners and the 10 best runners-up from the qualifying round play the elite round. The teams of the three best-ranked associations in the applicable coefficient rankings enter the competition in the elite round. For the 2013/14 competition, the teams concerned are Germany, England and Spain A draw for the elite round is conducted to place the 24 participating associations into six groups of four teams each. On completion of the elite round which will be played on 5-10 April 2014, the six group winners and the best runner-up qualify for the final round and will join with hosts, Norway.
