U17 National Team, coached by Hakan Tecimer, drew 2-2 against Luxembourg in their first match of UEFA U17 European Championship Qualifying Round Group 9 which is held in Northern Ireland.

The match was played in Shamrock Park Stadium, Portadown, N. Ireland and Turkey's goals came from Hayrullah Alıcı (Min. 16) and Enes Ünal (Min. 44) while, Sousa (Min. 9) and Flies (Min. 15) (Pen.) hit the target for Luxembourg.

Besides, Emirhan Aydoğan from Turkey was sent-off on 56th minute.

U17s will face Northern Ireland in their second match of the group on 16 November 2013 Saturday at 16.00 with Turkish local time.

UEFA U17 European Championship Qualifying Round Group 9 Schedules:

The 52 associations participating in the qualifying round are drawn into 13 groups of four teams. Germany, best-ranked team, directly qualified for the elite round, the 13 group winners, the 13 runners-up and the best third-ranked team from the qualifying round play the elite round. A draw for the elite round is conducted to place the 28 participating associations into seven groups of four teams each. Seven group winners will join the hosts Malta in finals which is held in 2014.
