Women U19 National Team, coached by Ogün Temizkanoglu, was defeated 2-0 by Norway in their first match of 2013 UEFA Women's U19 European Championship First Qualifying Round Group 5 which is held in Turkey. The match was played in World of Wonders Football Center,  Antalya and Norway's goals came from Vilde RIsa (Min. 8) and Lisa Naalsund (Min. 52).

In the day's other match of the group, Scotland routed Belarus by 8-0 at in World of Wonders Football Center-2. Abbi Grant (Min. 11), Carolina Richardson (Min. 26, 29 and 43), Heather Richards (Min. 33), Caroline Weir (Min. 61), Kirsty Smith (Min. 67) and Kelly Clark (Min. 88) hit the target for Scotland.

Turkey will face Scotland on 22 October 2012 Monday in their second match of the group.

40 teams are drawn into 10 tens groups in First Qualifying Round. The top two in each group and the third-placed side with the best record against the leading pair in their section will join top seeds Germany, France and England in the second qualifying round from 4 to 9 April 2013. In this round, 24 teams will be drawn into 6 groups and at the end of the round, all six group winners and the runners-up with the best record against the teams first and third in their section will join hosts Wales in the finals from 19 to 31 July 2013. Wales have progressed directly to the finals as hosts for the first time.
