Galatasaray, 2011-2012 Spor Toto Super League champions, won TFF Super Cup 2012 which is held for the 6th time, by beating Fenerbahçe 3-2 with a last minute penalty goal, who won Ziraat Turkish Cup last year.

TFF Super Cup 2012 was played in Yeni Erzurum Stadium, Erzurum, Turkey and Galatasaray grabbed the win by Umut Bulut's double strike (Min. 19 and 58) and Selçuk İnan's penalty on the last minute. While, Alex (Min. 45+2) and Dirk Kuyt (Min. 66) hit the target for Fenerbahçe. Besides; Engin Baytar from Galatasaray sent-off on 66th minute.

After the game, Umut Bulut was selected as the most valuable player of the game while; Galatasaray took their cup from TFF President, Yıldırım Demirören.
