With this result, Turkey finished the group in the 2nd place and qualified to the Elite Round alongside with Scotland, group winner. Turkey-Scotland game was played in Mladost Stadium and Atabey Çiçek (Min. 44) hit the target for Turkey while, Scotland's  only goal came from Charles Telfer. (Min. 64)

The 52 countries in the first qualifying round have been split into 13 groups of four, to be played as single-venue mini-tournaments in autumn 2011. The top two in each group plus the two third-placed teams with the best record against the leading pair in their pool progress to the elite round in spring 2012. In Elite Round, 28 teams are drawn into 7 groups of four teams and the seven group winners in that round will progress to the finals with the joining hosts Slovenia in the finals in May 2012.
