U19 National Team, coached by Kemal Özdeş, defeated Germany 1-0 in their last match of 2010-11 UEFA European U19 Championship Elite Round Group 7 which is held in WOW Football Centre, Antalya, Turkey. With this result, Turkey have finished the group in the first place with 9 points and have maken a history to qualify to 2010-11 UEFA European U19 Championship Finals.  Turkey's goal came from Muhammet Demir (Min. 22) while, Moritz Leitner missed a penalty for Germany on 13th minute.

In the day's other match of the group, Hungary beat FYROM 4-2.

Turkey had defeated FYROM 3-1 and Hungary 6-1 in their previous matches of the group.

28 teams were split into seven one-venue mini-tournaments to be played in 2011. These 28 teams were drawn into 7 groups of four teams and the seven group winners in that round which are Turkey, Belgium, Greece, Rep. of Ireland, Czech Republic, Serbia and Spain, have progressed to the finals with the joining hosts Romania in the finals from 20 July to 1 August 2011. The draw of the finals will be made on Wednesday, 8 June 2011 in Bucharest.

U19 National Team had reached to the Elite Round after finishing 2010-11 UEFA European U19 Championship First Qualifying Group in 1st place from the teams between Wales, Iceland and Kazakhstan.
