We lost the chance of being host nation of UEFA EURO 2016 with one vote difference. After the final presentations in Geneva today, UEFA Executive Committee decided that France and Turkey qualify to the final in the first round voting. In first round voting, France's poll was 43 while Turkey's was 38. Italy was eliminated with 23 votes. In the final, France took 7 votes of 13 and has been selected as the host nation of UEFA EURO 2016 with one vote difference. UEFA Executive Committee's decision has been announced by UEFA President Platini at 14:00 local time in Turkey.
