Former Turkey international midfielder Okan Buruk has been appointed as the administrative coordinator of the senior national team. Turkey head coach Guus Hiddink has decided that the 37-year-old former player would be a valuable addition to his staff after having some talks with him. Buruk, 37, was capped 102 times in various categories of the Turkish national team and retired after taking part in the friendly game against Czech Republic last May in United States.
