U19 National Women Team beat Northern Ireland 1-0 in their last match of 2010/2011 UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship First Qualiyfing Round Group 9 and reached to the Second Qualifying Round. The match was played at Loko Vltavin Stadium and Turkey's goal came from Leyla Güngör (Min.32) by penalty.

U19 Women's had been beaten by Romania 3-2 and had drawn against Czech Republic 1-1 in their previous first qualifying group matches.

In the day's other group match, Czech Republic beat Romania 4-0. With these results, Turkey has finished the group behind Czech Republic in second place with 4 points and has reached to to the Second Qualifying Round.

The 44 associations participating in the first qualifying round are drawn into 11 groups of four teams. Based on the current coefficient ranking list, the best-ranked team, Germany, will join the competition in the second qualifying round. The team with a bye for the first qualifying round, the 11 group winners, the 11 runners-up and the best third-ranked team from the first qualifying roundplay the second qualifying round. To determine the best third-placed team from the first qualifying round, only the results of the third-placed team against the winners and runners-up in each group are taken into account. The host association of the final round - Italy - qualifies automatically for the final round which will be played on 30 May-11 June 2011.
