U19 Women’s draw against Czech Republic: 1-1

U19 Women National Team drew against hosts Czech Republic 1-1 in their second match of 2010/2011 UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship First Qualiyfing Round Group 9. The match was played at Aritma Praha Stadium and Leyla Güngör (Min.13) was the scorer for Turkey while, Gabriela Matouskova (Min.40) hit the target for Czech Republic. Yonca Şentürk was sent-ff on 67th minute from Turkey.

In the day's other group match, Northern Ireland beat Romania 2-1.

Turkey will face Northern Ireland on 16 September in their last group match.

The 44 associations participating in the first qualifying round are drawn into 11 groups of four teams. Based on the current coefficient ranking list, the best-ranked team, Germany, will join the competition in the second qualifying round. The team with a bye for the first qualifying round, the 11 group winners, the 11 runners-up and the best third-ranked team from the first qualifying roundplay the second qualifying round. To determine the best third-placed team from the first qualifying round, only the results of the third-placed team against the winners and runners-up in each group are taken into account. The host association of the final round - Italy - qualifies automatically for the final round which will be played on 30 May-11 June 2011.
