At its recent meeting held in Zurich, Switzerland, Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) adopted key decisions regarding football governance and tournaments, while also appointing new members to serve on its committees.

The meeting, which emphasized the reform process in global football governance and promoted a message of peace and unity, also finalized the new committee memberships. The new FIFA committees, which aim to enhance stakeholder participation and build the future of football on a more inclusive, stable, and peace-oriented foundation, will include Turkish Football Federation President İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu, as well as TFF Deputy President, Executive Board Member Responsible for FIFA and UEFA Relations, Foreign Affairs and Health Prof. Dr. H. Zehra Neşe Kavak.

Formed for the 2025-2029 term, the committees will see TFF President Hacıosmanoğlu appointed to FIFA Stadium and Security Committee, while TFF Deputy President Kavak will serve on FIFA Medical Committee.
