32 Eskişehir, a youthful city packed with universty students, is near the junction of Turkey’s high speed railway system (YHT), with frequent fast trains to İstanbul, Ankara, and Konya. The new Eskişehir Stadium, inaugurated in 2016, has hosted a number of national team football matches. With great support from the public, the stadiums are filled with fans of all ages. Eskişehir has become a wonderland of outdoor recreation areas with its vast mega-park, 20-acre Japanese gardens and an artificial beach on the riverbank of Porsuk.
